Ipswich Electrifiers members join for a wide variety of reasons, and each member’s Toastmasters journey takes them somewhere new, and often to unexpected places.
In a panel discussion during our meeting on the 13th January 2022 Ipswich Electrifiers member Julie Kenny will be hosting a session with guests who have arrived at some very interesting places through their time with Toastmasters. This is a part of Julie’s own journey through the Toastmasters Pathways programme.
This is a great opportunity to hear the stories of members who have decided to take advantage of Toastmasters’ learning opportunities beyond their local clubs. During the panel discussion Julie will be encouraging panel guests to share with us what they’ve learnt about themselves, and how the skills learned through Toastmasters have helped them along their path.
If you wish to develop your public speaking confidence, learn how to increase your leadership skills, or are looking for inspiration for your own Toastmasters journey, then this panel discussion is for you.
Members and guests are all welcome to join us for what promises to be a fascinating and lively panel discussion. As a part of the session, Julie plans to include a Q&A session for audience members.
We will be meeting online via Zoom, and the panel discussion will be a part of the ‘prepared speeches’ segment of the evening.
