Ipswich Electrifiers Speakers’ Club is a Toastmasters International club in Ipswich, UK. We help members develop their public speaking, communication and leadership skills in a supportive and friendly environment. Membership is open to everyone over the age of 18.

We provide a supportive and positive learning experience in which members are empowered to develop communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
Club History
Ipswich Electrifiers takes its name from its original meeting place in the offices of Eastern Electricity, there we held our first meeting in May 1994 and charted as a Toastmasters International club on 1st March 1995.

Toastmasters International is not related to the red coated Guild of Toastmasters or to the Federation of Professional Toastmasters.

Ipswich Electrifiers Speakers’ Club Committee
The club committee term runs from July to June each year. Elections are held at the AGM in May
The committee meets monthly to discuss and plan all matters relating to the club. All members are welcome to attend a club committee meeting or ask for specific matters to be raised. Please get in touch with the president for details.
