On 14th March the club held the International Speech and Evaluation contests, winners go forward to compete at area level and higher levels if successful.
Contests are generally held twice yearly with club members choosing to take part as contestants, contest chair, judges, counters, timers or ushers; all ways to develop in speaking, leading and confidence.
Although few members join to compete, it’s a great way to challenge skills we’ve gained through the education paths, develop a few new skills and get out of our comfort zone.
Non members are always welcome to attend contests as guests
