We held our AGM on Thursday, and in addition to nominating and voting for our committee members, we also held votes on some other club issues.
After a very in-depth discussion about the pros and cons of running our meetings in-person and on Zoom, as a ‘hybrid meeting’ we voted to stop using Zoom for our regular meetings. The reasons for this change were carefully considered and it was agreed that from now on we will be 100% in-person and ‘in the room’.
Zoom was a brilliant tool for keeping us together during Covid, but the time has come for Ipswich Electrifiers to move away from hybrid meetings.

At the time of writing our friends at Speak Easy Martlesham are still operating hybrid meetings.
