Do you enjoy public speaking but find that you haven’t had much opportunity for a while? Or have you ever wondered how people can practice public speaking without being embarrassed?
Then this is the place for you. We can help you practice public speaking more frequently and confidently to keep you prepared for any opportunity that may arise.
There hasn’t been a better time to start as this month we are hosting an open night event!
On this special occasion we will have an extended series of impromptu two-minute speeches, during which you can practice your public speaking skills and receive constructive and friendly feedback. Don’t worry if you don’t feel up to it yet participation is always optional for guests.
During the refreshments break you will have the opportunity to network with our members and the other guests. We’ve also got delicious biscuits, coffee and tea! 🙂
After the break, there will be a short session of member-prepared speeches, followed by the feedback offered by the evaluators. This part might be of much interest for you, as the evaluators may mention techniques that can make you a better speaker.
Cool, isn’t it? Then why not join us for the open night?
The event will take place on 12th November 2015, from 6pm to 8.30pm, in the conference room of the Suffolk Chamber of Commerce.
